Tim’s world changed forever when he scored a job as a cellar-hand during the 2010 vintage in McLarenVale during the tourism off-season in South Australia and discovered the wonderful world of wine. After completing further vintages in Langhorne creek, Clare valley and Ballandean, stewarding at wine shows and commencing university studies in wine science, Tim decided to test out his winemaking and business skills & start his own wine company, the Morgan and Gill idea was born! Tim’s latest wine adventure was a visit to the wine regions of Argentina & Chile to increase his knowledge and appreciation of Malbec and Carmenere wines.
For a long time i have been an enthusiastic wine drinker and my passion for travelling and food has encouraged me to travel to some of the great wine regions of Europe. After settling permanently in Australia for the last ten years i have continued my interest in wine by studying a batchelor of technology in wine making at the USQ Toowoomba. After meeting Tim at university in 2013, we decided to bring our wine knowledge and business skills together to create the Morgan and Gill wine label in 2015.
